I’m Bec, a craftswoman and woodcarver based in Angus Scotland. I’ve always had a deep desire to create, and working with my hands has always felt like meditation in motion for me. Each piece I make starts in the woods, I use greenwood from local storm fallen trees and traditional methods and hand tools to carve items that are beautiful, long lasting and functional. Every item I create is intended to bring part of the woodland into your home, offering a connection to the natural world. I love decorating my utensils and wears with bright colours and chip carved patterns, to create something that looks joyful and contemporary but is rooted in tradition.
